A short, but very informative discussion on why healthcare costs are so much higher in America.



A few notes on some of the comments about the video. Yes, you may wait longer, especially for non-essential medical procedures (and that doesn’t always mean minor medical procedures) in nations with socialized health care. On the other hand, if you take a spill on your bike you are less likely to find out that you are not forever in debt. And remember, people laboring under medical debt do not contribute as much to the economy, which has a tremendous knock-on effect in terms of lost revenue.
